Doable sustainability is a personal and technical blog about some topics that are relevant to me: energy, environment and sustainability. With the key principles of always trying to improve things and with the intention of having fun in the process, the blog arises from the idea of having a meeting point where I can learn, debate or share knowledge in a honest way.
Why “doable sustainability”? Because even though the concept seems to be an utopia, I feel it as a great challenge. The fact that sustainability, although challenging, is doable gives me the strength to work for it.
My name is María Donoso, a forestry and environmental engineer, pianist and main author of the blog. I am specialized in energy, sustainability and environmental issues. Although at the moment my professional career is focused exclusively on the energy sector, my interests, both personal and professional, are wide and disparate.
